Hudson Valley Grown. Family Farmed.
Meet the Farmers
Brothers Bob and Doug Davenport are fifth-generation farmers who have been stewards of the Hudson Valley land for more than 40 years, carrying on a family farming tradition that dates back to 1869. With deep roots in the community and a commitment to the land, they have spent decades growing fresh, homegrown food for not only their local neighbors, but communities stretching from New York City to Florida.
Over the years, Bob and Doug have adapted alongside the changing agricultural landscape, growing the family business into a full grower, packer, shipper, and wholesale operation, while also building a strong retail presence. For many years, their farm market became a familiar stop at the Kingston traffic circle, serving generations of loyal customers.
In recent years, they brought the farm stand back home, building an on-site roadside market right here on the farm. What began as a simple honor-system has grown into a full farm stand and U-pick flower field, creating a place where customers can connect more closely to the farm and the people behind it.
Stop by and there’s a good chance you’ll spot Bob or Doug out in the fields, or driving by in their trucks with their labs hanging out the window, doing what they’ve always done: working the land and keeping the family tradition alive.
